Dr. Wenlong Wang received his Ph.D. from the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, he served as an Assistant Researcher at the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS, and from 2015 to 2018, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS. He joined Dongguan University of Technology as a full-time faculty member in 2018 and was a visiting scholar at Wuhan University in 2019. He has been recognized as a high-level talent of Dongguan University of Technology and a Dongguan City distinguished talent.

He has published over 40 papers in SCI journals including Angewandte Chemie, Chemical Reviews, ACS Catalysis, Advanced Science, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Chinese Journal of Catalysis, Green Chemistry, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, and Small, with more than 20 papers as first or corresponding author, and his work has been cited over 1,800 times. He holds 10 authorized invention patents and has led 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 provincial or ministerial projects, and 3 industry-sponsored projects.
